An ode to the weekend…

O weekend my weekend,

Your life was short, but it was beautiful,

It was full of joy, not a moment that was dull,

Your life was short, but it was beautiful,

Your life was short, it went by too fast,

Romance, suspense, misadventures, and action; it all seemed too good to last,

Your life was short, it went by too fast,

Your life was indeed short, but it was one to remember,

New places, old friends; old memories, new stories to discover,

Your life was indeed short, but it was one to remember,

Your life was short, maybe it felt shorter than it was,

There will be stories and legends – this time you were truly worthy of applause!

Your life was short, maybe it felt shorter than it was,

Your life was bloody short, but it was so damn sweet,

My entire week goes by, lusting for the next time we meet,

Your life was bloody short, but it was so damn sweet,

O weekend my weekend,

Your life was short, but I know we shall meet again,

Somehow its never enough, every time we part its always a pain

Your life was short, but I know we shall meet again.

Nice but the poem is also short. Enjoyed reading it…. A little longer one won’t harm. Keep writing… Next one, on drinking n being happy about it… Plz. Perfect time to release this on Monday. Keep it up. Keep voicing our thoughts.
